- In June of 2008, we set out on a tough but rewarding journey of The Mental Health Center Serving Boulder and Broomfield Counties' first ever capital campaign! With the onset of mental illness happening between the ages of 18 and 23, many of our young people are forced to miss key developmental milestones. At our new campus and with our new treatment methods, we are trying to restore our clients’ dignity by helping them develop those skills that may have been neglected during the debilitating stages of their illness. We have basic life skills classes in place, and these will be an option to anyone on their path towards wellness and recovery. Furthermore, A Brief Solution Focused Training Institute and a Psychosocial Rehabilitation facility will be added to the campus and will become our standard in therapy. This is a completely new method of treatment for our organization, and after much research and consultation, we are excited to have a state of the art treatment model and facility that will truly change the lives of our clients who suffer with mental illness.
